TRANSFORMING LEADERSHIP LEARNING WITH BT DIGITAL


Alongside our Internal Communications agency ‘Powered by Humans, we helped BT Group elevate their Leadership Standards Programme and spark engagement across its 5,000-strong Digital team.


We recognised that a powerful creative vision was essential to turn a set of Leadership Standards into a memorable and engaging employee experience. Translating each standard into a mockumentary-style video episode, our screenwriters used the houseshare hijinx of five flatmates to effectively deliver the clients' key messaging in a way that was fun, relatable, and on brand.


Centring five hilarious tenants, each episode used direct-to-camera interviews and deadpan humour to showcase the trials and tribulations of leading a team, breaking the fourth wall with ‘knowing looks’ to bring the audience into the story. This humorous approach enabled viewers to observe these actions from an outsider's perspective, avoiding the feeling of being lectured or criticised.


Over 65% of employees engaged with the video series in its first two weeks, with new follow-up episodes in the works! Positive feedback has been overwhelming, with further plans to roll this out across all BT Group.
